| How does it work? At Scrabble Night, teams compete against other teams (instead of competing against individuals) - with unusual twists to the rules: teams can boost their chances of winning by purchasing extra letters or peeks in the dictionary, or even by renting "expert consultation" from the Austin SCRABBLE Club members on hand. |
| St David's Episcopal Church -- 304 E 7th St, Austin TX The team with the highest score after two rounds is declared the champion. The winning team takes our HUGE Traveling Trophy plus individual bags of goodies donated by Austin-area merchants. Plus the fun of the game, we have a fantastic buffet dinner, and a Silent Auction, with autographed books, vacation weekends, gift certificates to local restaurants and much more! |
